Tasmania has many beautiful sandstone cliffs (and historical buildings made from local sandstone), most notably the Painted Cliffs on Maria Island National Park.

While on a bushwalk up our mountain, I was enthralled with the beauty of 3 tiny sandstones and did paintings of them. Each painting focuses on an (approximate) 1 cm x 1 cm (under half an inch square) section of each stone.
