This painting was done from a photograph I took while on vacation to Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington State, USA. At 14,411 feet (about 4400 metres) it is the highest mountain in the contiguous United States. This picture was taken from a glacier a little bit below 10,000 feet (3000 metres), looking down the mountain. I developed a new personal style of painting through this work.
