Cradle Mountain – Lake St. Clair National Park and The Overland Track – TASMANIA

Cradle Mountain rises 1545m (5069 ft) above Dove Lake and is home to endangered Tasmanian wedge-tailed eagles and 1000+ year old King Billy pines. Tasmania’s famous “Overland Track” is a 65 km (40 mi) bushwalking track that begins at Cradle Mountain and ends at Lake St. Clair. It takes 5-6 days to complete and traverses through the heart of Tasmania’s World Heritage Area.
