Mt. Field, Tasmania’s first national park, is home to Russell Falls (60m (190′)) and the Eucalyptus Regnans, some of the tallest trees in the world. In autumn, the turning of Tasmania’s only native deciduous tree, fagus (nothofagus gunnii), takes centre stage.
