“‘Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD.” (Jeremiah 29:12-14)
“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth…he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else…he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.” (Acts 17:24-27)
“The LORD is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all he has made. The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.” (Psalm 145:17-19)
People from every corner of the world, from every different kind of culture, from every different kind of socio-economic status, from every different kind of upbringing, from every different kind of religious background, from every different way of thinking have all had this in common: They hunger and thirst to know the Living God.
Read their salvation testimonies, their personal journeys of how they met the Living God and surrendered their lives to him, written in their own words.
Some of them are former jihadists who were stopped in their tracks by the God of the people they were murdering. Others lived in the remotest areas on the earth and had never even heard of Jesus or Christianity, and yet Jesus came to them in a dream, in answer to their earnest prayers to know the one, true God. Others tell heartbreaking stories from their childhood and of the God who loved them and came to save them. Still others were intellectuals, rabbis, homosexuals and atheists. Some, like myself, were regular people from the suburbs.
